Mark your calendars and set your schedule for University Park, PA!

WHAT: This is a full 5-day camp geared toward middle and high school Science, Math and Technology (STEM) teachers to provide the fundamentals of cybersecurity’s first principles. This camp will be jam-packed with resources you will be able to bring back to the classroom and get your students excited about the field of cybersecurity.

PA ACT-48: Penn State is a Pennsylvania Department of Education Act 48-approved provider. Prior to enrolling,  pr ofessionaleducators are encouraged to confirm that this program fits their school district’s professional development planfor Act 48. Participants will be eligible to receive 12 Pennsylvania Department of Education Act 48 hours upon completion of this program.

COST: There is NO fee for participants. We provide the following fixed honorarium to participating teachers to cover expenses as follows:

  • Local Participants (<= 30 miles): $400 to cover meals and transportation
  • Non-Local Participants (<= 250 miles): $900 to cover meals, transportation, and lodging
  • Non-Local Participants (> 250 miles): $900 to cover meals, transportation, and lodging + Selected participants may receive additional transportation support
